1099 MISC Form printing rents in the wrong box:
Q: The 1099 MISC form is printing rents in the wrong box. It's printing as attorney's fees.
GL account is for rent.
Why is it automatically assigning it to Box 10 for attorney's fees paid?
I would like to know why its assigning to box 10 of attorney fees paid.
A: We do not have the option to select which box it can go to yet; the template auto populates from the output.
We do not separate rent from attorney fees.
You will have to edit the amounts for those boxes to recognize the rent being taken out of the total fees box.
