Deleted time entries

Q: How to put back Time Entries? How to see deleted time entries. Is there a way to find time entries that were deleted?

A: You would have to look at the Audit trail and choose Time Journal source

REPORTS -> OTHER -> AUDIT TRAIL tab.

You cannot actually recover Time Entries that were deleted but you can see them on the audit trail report and that may help you with knowing what to re-enter.

Go to Reports -> Other -> Audit Trail tab.

On the "Audit Trail Options" screen choose the view "Audit" from the report list. Specify a Date Range of the entries. In the "Journal Source" box choose "Time". Once you hit the play button it will bring up all entries for that day even if they have been deleted. To see more details of any entry then just drill down on the line item and it will bring up a time report showing you what was entered.

There may be several entries displayed on the screen. To search for a certain value use the "cntrl-f" function to "find". In this case, you could find "deleted".
