Important note:  before turning on 2FA (two-factor authentication) please review the “Contact Settings” Section and “Verification Question” Section in this document.  For 2FA to work the phone number and/or email address will need to be verified in the “Contact Settings” Section.

There are 2 possible options for turning on two-factor authentication.

Option 1 (simple, use Soluno’s 2FA functionality):

1.       Click on the button “Use two-factor authentication when applicable” to turn it on.

2.       Click on the “Save” button.

3.       It is done!

Option 2 (use an outside Authentication Application):

1.       Click on the button “Use two-factor authentication when applicable” to turn it on.

2.       Click on the button “Configure Authentication Application” and follow the screen prompts to use the Microsoft or Google Authenticator.

3.       Download the Microsoft or Google Authenticator on your iPhone or Android device.

4.       Start the App, follow the setup instructions.

5.       Scan the QR code on your computer screen with your mobile phone.  When a code appears on your authenticator app, click on the “Verify” button at the bottom of the screen.

6.       Enter the code into the “Verify” sub-menu that appears for verification.

7.       Press the “Ok” button.

8.       It is done!

***Note:  the “Clear Devices” button will clear the codes and force “Logoff” the User.
