How to upload a QBO File for Bank Reconciliation?

  1. Go to Bank Admin > Feeds and Reconciliation 
  2. Drag QBO file into dotted blue box
  3. Click Submit



How do I add a Credit Card as a Bank Account?

  1. Go to Admin > Firm > Bank Accounts
  2. Click Add
  3. Click in Account Type, select Operating
  4. Add Account Name (required field)
  5. Click Save


Can I make my Credit Card Bank Account a Liability?


Bank Accounts are an Asset in the system, but as the Credit Card will carry a negative balance, it will behave like a Liability


How do I clear Bank Errors on my Bank Rec?


  1. Go to Bank Admin > Feeds and Reconciliations
  2. Select the Bank Account and click Submit
  3. Click the Bank Errors section
  4. Click the Checkbox to the left of the Prior Bank Error to mark it as cleared.
NOTE:  If a Bank Error is fixed by the bank in the same month it occurred (Net difference of 0) then do not add it as an error. Only add errors that will be carried into a future month.



What is the Actual Balance and Projected Balance on Trust Out/Op Out screen?


Actual Balance: This is the current bank balance, as found in the Bank Journal, on the date of the entry 

Projected Balance: This is what the Balance will be once the entry is Saved



How do I place Trust Funds on hold?

  1. Go to Admin>Firm>Settings>File
  2. In the Trust hold section on the page, enter the amount of days for Trust Hold
  3. Click Save
NOTE:  All payment types will be placed on hold by default, move payment types you would like to omit from holds into the Exclude box.


 How do I delete a deposit slip?


  1. Go to Bank Admin icon
  2. Go to Deposit tab>Previous click on the drop down and select the view List of entries
  3. Enter the required dates and the bank account and run the report.
  4.  Once the report has generated you can click on the PDF with the paper clip , this will download a file all the deposit slips so that you can find the deposit you need to delete by doing a control F to search for the file or reference.
  5. Once you find the deposit you would click on the Trash can to delete and yes to confirm.
  6. Refresh the report to reflect the changes.






How do I Un-pay an invoice?


  1. Go to Add Entries>Operating In
  2. Create a $0 entry, one line as a negative entry allocated to the invoice you are un-paying, and one line as a positive operating retainer.
  3. Click Save



How do I transfer an Operating Retainer to Trust?

  1. Go to Add Entries>Transfer
  2. Fill out the Date (use the date the funds are transferring at the bank)
  3. Fill in the Amount to be transferred
  4. Choose the payment type
  5. Choose the Operating account the retainer is currently held in
  6. Choose the Trust account the funds will be transferred to
  7. Fill in the same file and contact information in the to and from sections
  8. Click Save


How do I issue a retainer refund?

  1. Go to Add Entries>Operating Out
  2. Fill out the ...
  3. Select the contact
  4. fill in file and contact information 
  5. A pop up will come up (is this a refund?) Click yes
  6. Click Save

Why am I seeing a 500 error when accessing my bank rec?


The two browsers that we support are Edge and Chrome. If you are using any other browser, you may experience unexpected and unreliable results (such as a 500 error when accessing the bank reconciliation section)
