Adjust Invoice Basic Instructions

BILLING -> ADJUST INVOICE tab.

  1. Check the payment.  Cannot adjust an invoice below the payment that has been made.
  2. Change the value in either:
    1.  the “New” column, put in the new amount and press tab.  This will put a “Change” amount in the Change column.
    2.  the “Change” column, put in the negative amount that needs to be subtracted from the total and press tab.  This will change the “New” amount in the New column.
  3. Change the fee earner allocations by clicking on the “Allocations” button to adjust the discount from the timekeepers on the invoice.
  4. Enter the task code and GL codes as required.

Press the “Save” button.

Views and Reports -> Receivables -> Adjustments tab to view invoices that have been adjusted.Table

Request Invoice, File Number, Settlement Statement, Invoice Number for the new Invoice.
