Click on the “User Profile” icon/button to display the Tabs available. Click on "Preferences" tab.
DEFAULT TO ASSIGNED FEE EARNER ON TIME SHEET:
The “Default to assigned fee earner on time sheet” button will automatically insert the “Assigned” lawyer on the file into the “Fee Earner” column. The assigned lawyer value is set using “File Manager” for the file and then updating the section “File Staff”.
By default, the automatic populating of the “Fee Earner” column in “Time/Fees” tab entries, will function as follows:
On the “Time / Fees” tab, when I enter the file number, Soluno will automatically populate the Fee Earner field with my initials (the initials of the current user).
If I change my initials to another associate’s initials, and I continue to enter Time Entries, it will default to that other associate automatically for the rest of the entries, even if they are different file numbers; until I press “Save” or “Reset”.
If I turn on this option, the system will look at the Assigned Lawyer for the file and set the “Fee Earner” column to that particular lawyer automatically.
