If a trust entry was posted to the wrong file, bank account, or amount, you can edit it, or delete it and enter it again. Use this article when a trust receipt went to the wrong file, you picked the wrong trust bank account, a deposit went to trust but should have gone to general, an e-transfer amount is off by a few cents, or you forgot to set a transfer to batch print.
Correcting a Trust Entry
To do this:
- Find the entry on the client ledger, or go to Reports > Banking > Trust Bank (Trust Bank Journal).
